New Jersey winters don't just freeze the pipes you can see. The freeze-thaw cycle works on your buried sewer line too, and it tends to turn small problems into big ones right when you least want to deal with them.
As the ground freezes and thaws, soil shifts and heaves. That movement widens existing cracks, pulls joints apart, and gives tree roots new openings. A hairline crack that was fine in October can be a leak by February.
We run emergency service all winter. A frozen or backed-up line in January is miserable, so don't wait — call and we'll get moving.
